Just slap me.

For some reason I thought it might be a good idea to break down the little-er of the L's crib last weekend.

And that's about all I have to say about that.

Guess who's still yelling from behind her gate? "GATE GATE GATE" like I don't know she is locked in her room.

Pray for me.

Oh no! That's what I dread about the toddler bed. Our kid is zipped in his crib tent or he'd be roaming the house all night or playing with his toys. Good luck, I'm sending kid-go-to-sleep vibes your way.

I don't envy you at all! I'm luck that I don't remember the end of the crib days! Don't worry...it won't last toooo long!
By the way...I like the red!

Just reminding you the gate's still there. She's a thoughtful one, I think.

We moved the 2-yr old into a bed she can escape from not long ago, too, so that her little 2-month-old brother can be in the crib. Now she shows up by the bed a few times ever night after getting out of bed, opening the door, coming down the steps, and entering our room. Not good! We're too cheap to get one of those gate thingys, but we probably will soon when the boy starts crawling.
Good luck!

Make sure you buy a child proof lock for your slider... kids like to wander first thing in the morning.
And that's all I'm going to say about THAT!

Ooooo. I will rub it in and say I am past that stage with my kids. I remember the gate. and the crib. what horrid transitions.

Once babies start walking... I think that's when crib walls should be extended to the ceiling, not taken down.

Yeah, I don't miss those days so much.

What would be even better, is to give her a tin cup that she can rattle against the gate bars. Then put her in black and white striped pajamas. Won't help the situation, but think of the photo op. ;)

Seriously, I hope she starts settling in to the bed thing soon.
