Hope for their future.

Tonight Barack Obama was elected to serve as our 44th President of the United States of America.
I have hope for their future.
Hope that they most certainly do not understand right now.
Someday may they look back at this night with the same hope and anticipation at what they can accomplish next.

I am so excited right now that I'm shaking. Congrats on our guy winning! I love those pictures of the kids, BTW. I know what you mean about breathing a sigh of relief for their future. I have faith in Obama to turn things around here.... Congrats on our guy winning! Now go workout. ;)

See, I was too excited that I said congrats on our guy winning twice. How about a third time? Congrats on our guy winning.

I suppose it could be called naive, but seriously, I feel incredibly different today! I believe half my tears last night were for what I was seeing on my screen as President-elect (whoo hoo!) Obama was speaking and what we, as a nation, had decided, and the other half were for my children and what we, as a nation, had decided that could mean for their own goals and dreams.

Today feels great!
