My Love Man

Him - Left on another business trip.

Me- Left to try and survive the wrath of the Buzz Kills.

Him - Called to tell me that in case of emergency, look in the glove box of my car.

Me- It's either the glove box or the box of wine sitting on top of the fridge.

I took the more responsible of the choices.

What I found in the glove box made me love him just that much more. Sixteen years ago I met a guy who I thought was the antithesis of everything I wanted. Now today I confirmed the fact that he is indeed everything I ever wanted. Do you want to know why?

In that glove box was a Banana Republic gift card with this written on the card...

"For my Skinny Vanilla Hatte..."

Do you know how hard I have worked to be called skinny? Seriously!

Guys, a sure fire way to score major points with your wife?

Turn your wife into her Starbucks drink of choice. Just make sure it's a Skinny and do not under any circumstances use the term... Grande.

Man, Russ is good. Hats off to him (or as the new McD's commercial says: "That is definitely chest-bump worthy").

What a great guy! And it looks like you are doing awesome. I need a good kick in the butt, but I am afraid someone would bounce off and fall down.

Anyway, yes, the whole NaBlome thing is over... by accident no less, but I feel better now. I see that you missed Saturday too. Good. Seemed more pressure than it was worth.

Aw...I love hearing stories of guys who get it right.

I'd have to begin with educating my hubby what 'coffee' is. He knows not to talk to me before I've had it but - that's where his knowledge ends.

I love the play on words. He knows his beverages that's for sure. ;-)

He's so super sweet. Just for the record, he doesn't have a "Chocolate" mama somewhere hidden does he? You rock and apparently your husband rocks too. Way to rub it in our faces.
(actually, my husband rocks too. No one every asks him how in the world he snagged a girl like me, but they ask me that about him all the time)

Wow. Major points for him. My husband travels all the time and all he keeps getting me is knocked up.
